Walks and events

Terry and Peter regularly lead walks as part of the Discovering Sussex programme, details of which can be found in the Discovering Sussex booklet.

In addition, walking events, ranging from day walks to four day special events are
organised throughout the year.

Please note that to cover the cost of insurance and other expenses 'Per-Rambulations' have introduced a voluntary minimum contribution of £1 per person for all their day walks.

'Per-Rambulations' and Footprints of Sussex continue to produce their Discovering Sussex walking programme offering up to four walks a month throughout West and East Sussex.

Copies of the Discovering Sussex programme can be obtained from 'Per-Rambulations' (see order form) or you can request an electronic copy by email.

Events for 2013

South Downs Way - In Stages 2013
6th & 7th April, 4th, 5th & 6th May, 25th & 26th May and 6th & 7th July.
In 2013 'Per-Rambulations' will again organise this ideal way of walking the South Downs Way National Trail. Join them on the nine day, 105 mile journey from Eastbourne to Winchester during the spring and summer of 2013.

The event occupies one weekend a month between April and July, enabling you to cross the National Park through two seasons with a rest between 'Stages'.

Eden Valley Walk

A 13 mile walk between Edenbridge and Tonbridge following the Eden Valley through Hever, Chiddingstone and Penshurst.

Wealden Ways through East Sussex
Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th September 2013
Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September 2013
A four day walk through some of the finest countryside in the East Sussex Weald.
Averaging 11 miles each day the route includes Mayfield, Burwash, Bodiam, Lamberhurst and Bewl Water.

Coach transport from Horsham and other selected places.
